"Full Moon" is a dynamic monster illustration that started as a traditional ink sketch in my sketchbook. It features a vicious werewolf under the glow of a full moon. I designed this to capture raw ferocity and primal energy, moments after this creature's transformation. I wanted to blend classic horror aesthetics with modern fantasy and comic book illustration. My audience for this piece was centered around those who love Werewolf by Night or the classic golden age monsters. I was also inspired by monstrous designs from dark fantasy and horror, with glowing veins, and the lycanthropy contracted through bites and blood. I created this using Procreate with a focus on dramatic lighting, silhouette, line quality, and atmospheric depth.
