A portrait sketch of a halfling rogue. I love capturing personality in these sketches, and with this piece, I felt like I successfully accomplished that.

I’ve always found rogues to be admirable; they are stealthy, charismatic, and classically, they steal from those who usually deserve it. Characters like Bilbo, Frodo, Robin Hood, and Han Solo are all examples of the classic rogue. So I wanted to draw a pointy-eared young gnome rogue; here he is. One of my favorite parts of drawing portraits is the story that can be told in just the face.
There’s always a story there. We, as humans, communicate so much with just a simple expression, which is what makes portraiture so fascinating to me.
Keep drawing, and keep worldbuilding!
